close all open programs on the server system, which includes QuickBooks.

After that open the
downloaded file with the name “Setup_QuickBooks.exe”

The next step is
to follow the onscreen prompts. In case you need to find the product or license numbers, this is the way you can find them

The software will
prompt the user to select from the install type, where it is recommended to
select custom or network options. Once done with that select Next and avoid
selecting Express

The user is then
required to select the best option for the network setup and choose next tab.
In case the
QuickBooks desktop is installed already on the server system, then it won’t
overwrite any existing company data

database on the server system, then it is recommended to select I’ll be using
